Ms. Asima Abdul Raheem chairs the Maafushi Women's Development Committee, leading its work to advance the rights, participation, and well-being of women across the island. She coordinates community programmes, advocacy, and partnerships that open new opportunities for women and families.
The Women's Development Committee (WDC) is an elected body that works alongside the council to promote the participation and empowerment of women in Maafushi — leading community programmes, advocacy, and initiatives that support women, children, and families across the island.
